Not so long ago, I was in my dream Finance role at a global entertainment company; a career I had worked incredibly hard for and truly loved. But behind the scenes, juggling a demanding job with life as a new mum left me completely depleted. I wasn’t failing, but I wasn’t thriving either.
My nervous system felt constantly on edge, my energy was drained, and my own wellbeing had slipped to the bottom of the list. I didn’t recognise myself anymore. I knew I needed something that would rebuild me from the inside out. Not just another quick fix, but something sustainable.

Barre became that turning point.

I first discovered Barre in my early twenties and still remember leaving my first class completely elated. It was challenging yet deeply nourishing and the kind of burn that made you feel stronger by the second. Within weeks I felt stronger, leaner and more connected to my body - but even more powerful was the confidence it gave me. With a background in dance, movement has always been part of who I am and Barre reignited that spark in me; it felt expressive, powerful and joyful all at once.

Time is precious, and I realised I could get the most transformative results and feel joyful by carving out just 25mins at home 4-5 times per week.

Coming back to Barre, during a season when I felt stretched thin, changed everything. Practising at home became my reset, my anchor. It regulated my nervous system, it rebuilt my strength and gave me back energy that I thought was gone for the foreseeable. But what surprised me most was the confidence. Barre didn’t just reshape my body, it reshaped how I saw myself. Through consistent, intentional movement, I began to feel strong in a way that carried into every area of my life. I stood taller, I trusted myself more and I stopped waiting to “feel ready.” I felt grounded, capable and unapologetically confident in my own skin. Something I hadn’t felt in years.That transformation is why I created SHB.

After qualifying with Physique57 New York and training under Barrecore founder Niki Rein, who is my mentor, I knew I wanted to share a method that was powerful, efficient and accessible. With over a decade of personal practice and study, I’ve designed workouts that fit into real life and deliver maximum impact in minimal time, because I understand how precious that time is.
